An audio-textual composition combining elements of performance lecture, sound design and musical research, premiered at Via Vai in 2024.

A U D I O T E X T E is a 50-minute performance that develops into an affective cartography; a quiet, almost private reasoning on the post-historical condition; an augmented speech over the possibility of language, an inquiry over memory and love, collectivity, and solitude. The result is a conceptual work that is also a dark and dreamy musical object, shaped by industrial and post-punk rhythms, pierced by a digitally processed guitar, and enclosed into Grosso’s overarching baritone voice, both reading and singing.
